I highly recommend Bill Dueease and his excellent Coach Connection. I was able to interview three coaches to see who was the best fit for me and my business. I could have interviewed more if I didn't like the first three. However, I settled on the one that was high-spirited and demanding because that's what I wanted in a coach. It worked out quite well for me.
I broke some old patterns and ways of doing things that consistently presented the outcome that I did not want to happen. I started a new invention and grew one of my two companies to million dollar revenues while dissolving the other. (Too many ideas going at once dilute your efforts at the thing you want to do most.)
I did not look at coaching as long term as I just needed a nudge to get going on a new idea, organize myself better, launch a new product, and get my team together and that meant cleaning out 90% of the team and starting a new one which I now adore.
My coach presented me with tasks and exercises that I had to complete each week. It proved to be challenging running two businesses and getting my homework done but it all worked out in the end.
It was well worth the time and money spent and I would do it again in any instance where I needed more mentoring and support to get over a hump.
I guess what I'm saying is you can't go wrong with the Coach Connection because even if you don't like it you can get your money back. It worked for me and I don't have one thing bad to say about their service.
I'm still in touch with my coach today as a mentor and colleague.
