With the support of his TCC Member Coach, Andy got clear on who he was by identifying his values, beliefs, passions, priorities, desires, and talents. As a result of his coaching, he decided to enroll in law school, made application to two schools and was accepted by both.
Andy said this of his coaching experience with The Coach Connection:
“* I learned how to think more positively.
* I learned not to listen to doubt and not to question my own beliefs about careers.
* I now see the success of others as something I can do.
* I learned how to go about change in a systematic way and to plan small definitive goals.”
“My
accomplishments mean freedom, in a way. I now look for ways to do
things instead of focusing on roadblocks. This also means I have
reclaimed a part of myself. I admired the way you made your case
for me not trying to control the process. I was also surprised to
understand that the best coach for me may not have the expertise in my
chosen field to understand me and how I think. My TCC Coach’s
ability to suggest things in a non-confrontational way was great.
She would not let me off the hook when it came to being
pessimistic. I enjoyed the way she helped me set goals that
involved others so I would not overanalyze my situation.”
“Rarely
am I impressed with something, but the TCC Coach’s performance has been
outstanding. I know I picked the best coach. She is very
talented and has kept up with my breakneck pace.”
